Our sliding elements are made from a range of premium materials – depending on the series, they are tailored to the specific requirements and the product specifications for the application in question. When it comes to the material composition, the emphasis is on ensuring a high load-bearing capacity, a long service life thanks to high wear-resistance, as well as easy assembly and effective damping and sliding properties.

faigle produces relief track profiles made from PAS-C60 L, an oil-lubricated cast polyamide. For sliding pads we use a special type of plastic – called PAS-PE – in our injection-moulding process. Our step bushings are made from a thermoplastic compound comprising a hard and a soft component, as well as a dry lubricant, in accordance with the specifications. Take the relief track profiles fitted in escalators, for example – they have a particularly important job to do in the upper deflection curve, where they help to bear the weight of the passengers and the load on the chain roller.
